well, i just do digital art as a hobby. i have no formal training or anything like that. i have been trying to learn apophysis (a wonderful and FREE fractal program) but for the most part i work with pictures i have taken (i love doing photography!) and occassionally i start off with basic geometric shapes that i just apply plug in effects to and use other functions, like brushes, on. i guess that might be cheating, but like i said, i just do this for fun. i don't claim to be a professional or anything and don't compare my things to the stuff that so many of the talented artists on here lovingly create. (that's not to say that i don't love making what i have posted though!) but i would like to use myself as an example that anyone can make some cool looking digital art. a lot of the time i just tweek things until a name for them comes to my mind and then i call it good. i never really start out with any intentions for the finished product. i do, however, also use my work to create fliers for raves that i, my fiancee, and some friends host. if you ever want to learn about those click here. hopefully, as i progress and acquire more complex skills, i will create more high caliber work. well, thanks for looking! and i love to get comments! also, i can handle criticism so if you feel the need to throw it this way, that is fine.
